The hospital was established in 1920 by Dr.Y.Mahadeva Iyer, who was a highly acclaimed physician, as well as great sanskrit and vedic scholar. He loved Ayurvedic science and was a master in Ayurvedic Samhitas. This hospital continues to thrive under the expertise of the family members of Dr.Y.Mahadeva Iyer.
